Mick Sykes

Mick is a qualified financial adviser with over 30 years of experience in financial planning and is the founding partner of EZI Protect.

In 1988, Mick started his career as an insurance agent for Legal and General, where in his first year he was awarded the Paramatta Rookie of the year. Mick’s dream was always to start his own business, and a year later he decided to start EZI Protect, which now provides holistic advice to thousands of clients nationally.

Mick is passionate about the financial services industry and is dedicated to helping his clients achieve their financial goals and make the best possible decisions to create the life they desire. He specialises in holistic financial planning advice, tailored around sound insurance, superannuation and retirement strategies.

Mick has completed his Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and his Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning at Griffith University. He is passionate about education and is in the process of completing his Master of Financial Planning.

Outside of work and study, Mick is a passionate musician and has a Guitar collection most music stores would envy.
